Order Terms
By using this website and/or placing an order on this website you agree to be bound by the policies and conditions contained herein.

Delivery Options
The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry can deliver all over Australia. Alternatively, if you live locally, you might like to place your order online and pick it up in person from our shop front. We are located at,

Payment Methods and Conditions
Credit Cards are the preferred method pf payment. We may request that additional ID is faxed/e-mailed/posted to us to confirm the identity of the cardholder. The cardholder must sign the Fax/Photocopy. Accepted cards are, Visa, MasterCard and Bankcard.

Direct Deposit
Funds are paid directly into our bank account and must be cleared before we will ship your order. Please Telephone or Email us for these details.

Note: Where your bank allows details to be input for the beneficiary, please enter your surname here so that we can track where the funds have come from.

Cash
Only for items picked up in person. Select this option on the Freight Charges page if you intend to pick up your order in person. Do not post cash.

Cheques
Bank Cheque or Money order can be posted to us or handed to us at pickup.
Personal Cheques must be cleared before goods will be shipped. Pickups require ID. All cheques, must be made payable to "Black Duck Gourmet Pantry" only.

EFTPOS is available at the shop

Shipping and Freight
All orders placed by 12:00 pm (midday), Australian Western Standard Time, will be shipped that day (*). All other orders will be dispatched next business day for delivery to their destination. Time required for delivery is dependant on location and your chosen delivery method. See Shipping and Freight below.

Delivery Regions and Approximate Timeframes

Albany Local Area 1 business day
Greater South West Region of W.A. 1-2 business days
Perth Region 2-3 business days
Rest of Western Australia 3-7 business days
Interstate Capital Cities 3-6 business days
Interstate Regional Centres 5-10 business days

Delivery charges will be calculated when you place your order.

National Occasion’s (*)
Examples of national occasions are Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, and Mother’s Day etc. The lead up to a national occasion is a very busy period. Please allow 3-4 days for the shipping of orders placed on the website during these periods.

We are unable to accommodate specific delivery dates that you may nominate for a particular order. National occasions usually fall on a public holiday or a weekend; these are days on which couriers usually do not operate. We are not responsible for the item once it leaves our premises, therefore we can make no guarantees that your gift/order will arrive on any date nominated by you. Having said that, we will try to accommodate your request, if workload permits.

Note: it is generally better to have a delivery arrive a day or two earlier, (rather than later), than your recipients occasion. To help us help you in this regard, please ensure that you choose an appropriate freight option when you purchase your order.

There is no Sunday/or Public Holiday delivery anywhere in Australia.

Out of Stock Products
Items advertised on the Black Duck Gourmet Pantry website are usually in stock. However during peak periods some items can deplete quickly. The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry reserves the right to substitute products that may be unavailable or out of stock as follows:

  1. Items that form part of a hamper may be substituted with an item of similar nature and value.
  2. For specific items that you order individually, we will endeavour to contact you and offer alternatives or advise you of the wait time till more stock arrives.

Delivery Terms
The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry is not responsible for the delivery of your order. Black Duck Gourmet Pantry uses reputable contract couriers, including Australia Post. Whilst every care is taken to ensure accurate and safe delivery, we cannot guarantee unforeseen circumstances, such as theft, damage or a parcel not arriving at a certain time or place. There is no Sunday/or Public Holiday delivery anywhere in Australia.

Returns/Refunds Policy
The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry makes every effort to ensure that your order is packaged in such a way as to meet the stresses of the transport system. We do not accept responsibility for an order once it has left our premises, however, if an order arrives excessively damaged or a product is faulty, please contact us and we will asses the situation for replacement based on a case by case situation. Most cases will require you to return the damaged product to us within 7 business days at your expense before we will resend a replacement item.

Privacy Policy
The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry recognizes that your privacy is very important to you and that you have a right to control your personal information. We know that providing personal information is an act of trust and we take that seriously. Unless you give us explicit consent to act otherwise, the following policy will govern how we handle your personal information and safeguard your privacy. The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry is committed to protecting your personal information and giving you choice in who can use your personal information and how it can be used.

How we use the information we collect
When you visit our site, there are certain details we require from you to be able to provide our services. We need to know your name and email address. We also need to know your billing address, telephone number, and your debit/credit card details. We gather this information to allow us to process your order. In order to deliver the service you have requested we may sometimes share your personal information with an affiliate or with a service partner (such as our couriers). We will not give any of your personal information to advertisers or any other organisation without your express consent.

Promotional email
If you are receiving promotional information about the Black Duck Gourmet Pantry and do not wish to receive this information any longer, you may remove your name from our list by emailing us and ask to be removed from our mailing list.

Storage & security of your personal information
The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information that we hold about you. Your information is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. In addition, after processing your order we manually truncate your credit card details so that employees of these server facilities cannot extract these details from their system.

The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to your personal information.

The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry may provide links to websites. These linked sites are not under the control of the Black Duck Gourmet Pantry, and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of companies linked to our website. Allergic Reactions
The Black Duck Gourmet Pantry will not be held responsible whatsoever for any aggravation or onset of any allergy or associated medical reaction arising from the purchase and consumption of any of our products whether or not you are aware of such a medical condition. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to assess whether the ingredients of a particular product meet their dietary requirements. If you have any concerns regarding a product you are welcome to contact us and we will provide you with the ingredients listed on the product packaging as provided by the manufacturer. Because this in formation is provided by a third party the Black Duck Gourmet Pantry makes no warranty as to the accuracy of this information and cannot be held liable in this regard whatsoever.

Privacy of children
It is important that any information provided or purchases made by children have the consent of parents or guardians. However, as we have no way of knowing who accesses our website, Black Duck Gourmet Pantry cannot be held responsible for the unsupervised actions of minors.
